About

History

Kath of Boots Linedance I went to my first linedancing class in July 2000, and I was hooked! In 2003, I started teaching an easy dance now and then with my instructors, the Ali-Kats. I was encouraged to start my own beginners class, which I did in 2004. I added a second class in 2005. When the Ali-Kats retired in 2006, I was privileged to take on two of their classes.

Music & Clothes

We use mainly country music, with the odd non-country track.

There’s no need to dress up for classes, but suitable footwear should be worn, to support the feet and ankles.

Socials & Charity

We have ‘special’ classes every few months, which have a more social than class atmosphere. We have a great Christmas Party!

We regularly support the Wales Air Ambulance Service with raffles and sales throughout the year.

I’m available to demo or lead simple line dances (or play country music) at private functions such as club meetings, birthday parties and weddings.
